The Style Maison was founded by Lauryn Prattes in 2008 to help others understand how to look and feel their best. Believing that not everything fashionable is also stylish, Lauryn works with her clients to translate fashion trends into wearable styles to flatter ones individual body and lifestyle. Currently, Lauryn works with clients in person in both Atlanta and Washington DC, as well as helping clients virtually.

Having graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Public Relations, Lauryn has used her education to network and build client and industry relationships. Lauryn’s previous experience includes work as a fashion editor, magazine stylist and fashion blogger.

As a fashion editor Lauryn helped build a magazine from the ground up. Working hand in hand with the editor and graphics department, she gained insight on predicting trends and translating clothing from the runways to real life. Lauryn also interned for a high-end fashion retailer, gaining experience in bridal, couture, visual styling and their personal shopping salon.

In addition, Lauryn also maintains The Style Maison Blog, informing readers of current trends, fashion news and how to look their best. With a growing readership, The Style Maison Blog is viewed by readers worldwide and serves as a guide linking fashion with style and wear-ability.

Lauryn has worked with a variety of clients from the budget minded to couture. Drawing on her previous experience, degree and foreign travel, Lauryn continues to build The Style Maison into a world recognized styling agency.
